Off-Road Section
n
recent years the mountain bike has been at the fore front of
cycling development. Not only in frame designs incorporating
such things as suspension, but also in component advancement
such as disc brakes, also innovative products for both bike
and rider to enhance the cycling experience.
The National Cycle Collection proudly
displays a Raleigh M-Trax 450 Elite Off-Road Bicycle as ridden
by Barrie Clarke when he won the National Mountain Bike Championship
in 1996. The Off-Road
Section also contains exhibits such as the American Cannondale
along side early models including BMX, Grifters and hybrids,
together with such machines as Raleigh 21 speed
Cro-Mo I Max, M-Trax 250, Trail Pioneer 4000, 24 Speed Cro-Mo
III Max and Raleigh Maverick. Together with the exhibits in
the Children's Off-Road section make these displays worthy
of your personal inspection. |
