The National Cycle Museum is an independent charity and receives no external or government funding. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to finance the work of the museum and helpful volunteers who provide the time and hard work to keep the museum alive.
There are a number of ways you can support our work:
Make a Donation
We rely on the generosity of our visitors and supporters to finance the work of the museum, including new collections and outreach projects. You may wish to nominate the National Cycle Museum as your charity to support as part of a sponsored cycle ride.
If you wish to make a one off donation, please make cheque out to the National Cycle Museum and post to Automobile Palace , Temple Street ,Llandrindod Wells , Powys , LD1 4DL. We are hoping to have an online donation facility soon
Become a Friend of the Museum
The 1995 Friends of the Museum was founded to support the Museums work and grow the historic Collection. By becoming a Friend of the Museum, you can help us preserve the Collection for the benefit of future generations. The Annual Subscription Cost is just £15.00

Become a Volunteer
The Museum is run entirely by our dedicated Volunteers and encourages anyone who feels they could contribute positively to the Museums activities.
Volunteer roles are interesting and worthwhile – helping to promote cycling to a range of people of all ages and interests. Volunteer activities include supporting staff during opening hours, manning our Displays at Vintage Shows or accompanying staff on educational school visits.

* A Gift in your will

Donations of unwanted cycle spares/ tools in good condition. NB Complete cycles not required at present, thank you .
Please contact the museum on curator@cyclemuseum.org.uk . Collection can usually be arranged but you are very welcome to bring items along to the museum on an open day and have a free viewing
